Stay in the loop while you’re away!
If you’re renting a Virtual US/Canadian Number from us, there are two ways to have your US number ring on your cellphone:

For short term rentals:

You can set up call forwarding BEFORE YOU LEAVE from your regular US cell phone number to this temporary virtual number so you don’t miss any calls. (Keep in mind: phone calls will be forwarded but SMS won’t go through.)

Here’s how: (This can only be done with your US SIM card, NOT the Israeli SIM card.)

Follow the instructions for your USA provider to activate and deactivate the call forwarding feature:

Verizon
To activate: dial *72 ➨ 1 your Virtual Phone Number ➨ #.
To deactivate: (once your US SIM is back in your phone) dial *73

AT&T
To activate: dial **21 ➨1 Virtual Phone Number ➨ #.
To deactivate: (once your US SIM is back in your phone) Dial #21#.

T-mobile
To activate: dial **21* ➨ Phone Number ➨ #.
To deactivate: (once your US SIM is back in your phone) dial ##21#

Sprint
To activate: dial *73 ➨ Phone Number.
To deactivate: (once your US SIM is back in your phone) dial *730

For any issues with or to purchase a virtual US/Canadian number, see our contact details here.

For long term rentals:

Option 1: If your US number will be active the whole time you are in Israel, you could do it like the above.

Option 2: You could port your number to your Israeli cell phone. This could only be done if you ordered a Virtual Number with your plan.
The line has to be active until the port goes through. This will help that you could keep your US number without paying for your US service while you are in Israel.

See here for more details about porting your number.
